Interview is the most important part in the process of hiring. So important that out there in the world, there is a lot of common knowledge about how to prepare for these interviews and get the job one wants. Why should we hire you?
Interviewers ask this question to see what unique qualities you might possess, how do you stand out in the crowd and how you see yourself. This is the part of the interview where you drive home and sell yourself. It’s best to think of this question beforehand and come up with a relevant answer that you are comfortable with.
Obvious answers like “Because I need a job” or “I would like to work for your company” will not help you. You need to give a concrete answer that will tell them why they should hire you over somebody else. A good way start would be to tell your interviewers that you would be fitting for the position open. Build more evidence on this. Talk about the qualities you have how you will put them to use in this position. Without sounding overconfident you can even push the line by saying that you can solve problems and get the work done in the smoothest way.
